Who I am and what I do for a living
Hello there, I'm Tony and this is my overview…
I'm an Englishman rapidly approaching 30, and I've worked in the UK technology sector since 1999 across as a variety of companies and roles.
Started out writing traditional applications, moved on to web-based applications and databases although I have a fairly broad base of experience rather than being very tightly focused specialist.
Currently employed as a senior software developer working with classic ASP, ASP.net, VB.net and SQL Server on the Windows Server platform. I'm fairly heavily involved in the ongoing maintenance, management and upgrading of our server hardware and software.
Very much one of the Google generation, I'm extremely web literate and with a background crossing e-commerce, security and search engine marketing I tend to be very concious of what I'm doing online and how others could both use and abuse the content we place online.
